Programs for Birds

The following is a list of links to organizations, commercial and nonprofit, that have formal programs for the care of parrots and other exotic birds upon the death or disability of their owners.

Permanent Care Without Adoption

It should be noted that the above organizations also provide permanent care if the circumstances dictate.  However, the following organizations do not adopt the parrots they take in:

Adoption

The following organizations are sanctuaries that will, under the appropriate circumstances, take in unwanted exotic birds and subsequently place them in a foster or adoptive home.  These organizations may also provide direct care without adoption.
